Jessica obtained a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Victoria in 2006, and went on to complete her Masters in Physical Therapy at the University of British Columbia.
Jessica brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to Arbutus Physiotherapy and Health Centre. Jessica is continually expanding her skill set with additional physiotherapy related courses and training. She has completed her Functional Dry Needling certification, a number of musculoskeletal courses with the Advanced Physical Therapy Education Institute, and continues to advance her manual skills with the Canadian Physiotherapy’s Orthopedic Division.
Jessica recognizes each client as an individual, and approaches her assessments and treatments holistically in order to take in all aspects of a person. She uses a variety of techniques and tools in order to tailor her treatments to the specific needs of the individual. She likes to work collaboratively with her patients in order to achieve their goals and optimize the treatment outcome.
In her spare time, Jessica can be found spending time with her family and friends; hiking, biking, running, and playing with her young children.
