Interested in triathlon? Learn to do your first triathlon with us
Spring is in the air and Arbutus Physiotherapy is excited to share exciting news about a NEW program we are offering that will kickstart your healthy spring activity!
Arbutus Physiotherapy is pleased to announce we are offering our first TRY-A-TRIATHLON Clinic, a 12 week program that will culminate with participants racing at the Triathlon of Compassion on June 26th, 2022. The Triathlon of Compassion is a nice community triathlon and a great starting race for people at all levels of fitness. The tri of compassion has a short track option and team options as well! Plus it’s a fundraiser for the Victoria Sexual Assault Centre!
Registrants will receive a Biomechanical Bike Fit, a Running Analysis and 9 group training sessions, along with a training program to help them prepare for their first Sprint Triathlon. The training program is designed by Human Powered Racing Head Coach Mike Neill!
The idea for the training clinic was forged by Arbutus Physiotherapists Brandon, Maciek and Thomas at a local pub in the dead of winter. They are looking forward to sunnier days and want to combine their passions for swimming, cycling and running to create a fun and unique training program for the Southern Vancouver Island community.
There will be a Try-A-Triathlon Meet and Greet Night on April 2nd at which point all athletes will receive their training programs. All interested participants can register now by giving us a call. Registration cost is $500.
Don’t wait, register today! We can’t wait to cross that finish line with all our newly minted Arbutus Physiotherapy Triathletes.
