Kennedy Tralnberg, MScPT, BScKin
Physiotherapist

Kennedy received her Master’s in Physiotherapy from the University of Alberta, where she was a three-time Alberta Graduate Excellence Scholarship award recipient. Kennedy also holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with Distinction from the University of Alberta and is a CSEP-Certified Personal Trainer.

Kennedy has had the unique opportunity to work with patients of all ages, sporting backgrounds, and walks of life in several private practice physiotherapy clinics, at the Alberta Children’s Hospital, and as a researcher in scoliosis rehabilitation.

Kennedy strives to provide comprehensive, tailored physiotherapy sessions with a balance of therapeutic exercise and hands-on treatment that is always informed by the latest research. Patient education will be emphasized throughout every stage of your rehabilitation journey so that you are never left guessing. Kennedy is especially interested in concussion and vestibular physiotherapy, sports rehabilitation, and working with adolescent and youth populations.

Kennedy recently relocated to Victoria from Edmonton, Alberta, and, as a lover of travel, is looking for new adventures on the island. When she’s not focused on physiotherapy, you might find her working as a firefighter fitness tester, coaching junior curlers, or volunteering in cancer care. She enjoys game nights with family and friends and all things outdoors or active – golfing, hiking, snowboarding, curling, Irish dancing, volleyball – you name it!

Kennedy hopes to see you in the clinic and is committed to supporting your recovery and success lasting far beyond your time at Arbutus.

I look forward to my appointments

“Lena is the best! I had a difficult time finding a physiotherapist I could click with and would listen to my concerns. Now I look forward to my appointments and the positive environment the entire clinic brings. She is extremely talented in what she does, and I can’t recommend her enough. The outcome, and care provided is beyond exceptional. The receptionist team is always there to help and bring a positive attitude and very understanding to my needs and schedule. Thank you Lena, and the entire Arbutus Health Centre team!”

Respectful and knowledgeable

“I have been going to Arbutus for a couple of years now, in that time I have seen one if not all of the people in there. Sandy the owner is exceptional and her team are fantastic ! They all take the time to listen and are respectful and knowledgeable in their respective fields. Shout out to Olivia , Mae and Natasha as well on the front line . They make it a friendly pleasant atmosphere to be in. I would not hesitate to recommend this business to anyone seeking out a multi use practice for wellness!”

A bouquet of yellow and red tulips in a glass vase, which we see only the top of, set against a white background. Slightly left of center is the focus of the picture, which is a yellow blossoming tulip. It is sticking out from the others and bent to that the center of the flower is facing the camera. It is bright yellow with a small patch of red on each petal.
