Kennedy Tralnberg, MScPT, BScKin
Physiotherapist

Kennedy received her Master’s in Physiotherapy from the University of Alberta, where she was a three-time Alberta Graduate Excellence Scholarship award recipient. Kennedy also holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with Distinction from the University of Alberta and is a CSEP-Certified Personal Trainer.

Kennedy has had the unique opportunity to work with patients of all ages, sporting backgrounds, and walks of life in several private practice physiotherapy clinics, at the Alberta Children’s Hospital, and as a researcher in scoliosis rehabilitation.

Kennedy strives to provide comprehensive, tailored physiotherapy sessions with a balance of therapeutic exercise and hands-on treatment that is always informed by the latest research. Patient education will be emphasized throughout every stage of your rehabilitation journey so that you are never left guessing. Kennedy is especially interested in concussion and vestibular physiotherapy, sports rehabilitation, and working with adolescent and youth populations.

Kennedy recently relocated to Victoria from Edmonton, Alberta, and, as a lover of travel, is looking for new adventures on the island. When she’s not focused on physiotherapy, you might find her working as a firefighter fitness tester, coaching junior curlers, or volunteering in cancer care. She enjoys game nights with family and friends and all things outdoors or active – golfing, hiking, snowboarding, curling, Irish dancing, volleyball – you name it!

Kennedy hopes to see you in the clinic and is committed to supporting your recovery and success lasting far beyond your time at Arbutus.

The first person I contact to assess and deliver treatment

“Whenever I have an injury in need of diagnosis, Sandy Wilson is the first person I contact to assess and deliver treatment. Her advice on returning to training and racing comes from the fact that she is an athlete herself. Her treatment plans always get me back out there running and being active faster than I would have ever thought possible in the initial stages.”

Highly recommend

“I had a suspected stress fracture in my foot and came in to get it assessed. Scott my physiotherapist was extremely throuough and very helpful. He took the time to ensure a definitive diagnosis within my first session and there was no pressure for a follow up visit. Definitely the best experience I have had at a physiotherapist. The front desk was also a delight to deal with. I would highly recommend this clinic.”
