Kennedy Tralnberg, MScPT, BScKin

Kennedy received her Master’s in Physiotherapy from the University of Alberta, where she was a three-time Alberta Graduate Excellence Scholarship award recipient. Kennedy also holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with Distinction from the University of Alberta and is a CSEP-Certified Personal Trainer.

Kennedy has had the unique opportunity to work with patients of all ages, sporting backgrounds, and walks of life in several private practice physiotherapy clinics, at the Alberta Children’s Hospital, and as a researcher in scoliosis rehabilitation.

Kennedy strives to provide comprehensive, tailored physiotherapy sessions with a balance of therapeutic exercise and hands-on treatment that is always informed by the latest research. Patient education will be emphasized throughout every stage of your rehabilitation journey so that you are never left guessing. Kennedy is especially interested in concussion and vestibular physiotherapy, sports rehabilitation, and working with adolescent and youth populations.

Kennedy recently relocated to Victoria from Edmonton, Alberta, and, as a lover of travel, is looking for new adventures on the island. When she’s not focused on physiotherapy, you might find her working as a firefighter fitness tester, coaching junior curlers, or volunteering in cancer care. She enjoys game nights with family and friends and all things outdoors or active – golfing, hiking, snowboarding, curling, Irish dancing, volleyball – you name it!

Kennedy hopes to see you in the clinic and is committed to supporting your recovery and success lasting far beyond your time at Arbutus.

In sync with his patients

“Connor is wise, professional and in sync with his patients. As a physiotherapist he tries to get to the root of what is causing your discomfort. He offers suggestions to support your healing process and is great at follow up! His care and attention is appreciated.”

Sweet, understanding and actually helped

“Amazing people here. Friendly and awesome. My physiotherapist Fawn Whiting was sweet, understanding and actually helped relieve back pain from which I was suffering for a few years. She taught me few excercises which i still do from time to time to relieve back pain. Thanks Arbutus and Fawn 😁”
