Physiotherapist
Thomas is a graduate of the Masters of Physiotherapy program at UBC. Prior to his Masters he earned a Bachelor of Kinesiology from UBC. Thomas enjoys being active- as a native of Edmonton, Alberta he fully appreciates the great weather on the West Coast which allows for year round activity. He is passionate about helping the active residents of Victoria stay healthy and happy.
Thomas continues to pursue postgraduate level certifications. He has both his Intramuscular Stimulation (IMS) and Acupuncture Canada (CAFCI) certifications. He has also completed the Dumont and Lazarski Biomechanical Bike Fit Course and helps to keep our clients feeling comfortable on their bikes. Thomas believes in a hands-on, multi-modal approach to physical therapy, combining manual therapy with patient-specific exercise prescription and education. He strives to make his treatments patient-centered and goal-oriented.
Thomas enjoys days off with his young family and always looks forward to putting the “next event” on his calendar. He is a hockey player, runner, and cycling enthusiast and has completed multiple Whistler Gran Fondos, Vancouver BMO Marathon/Half Marathons, Vancouver Sun Runs, a Vancouver Scotiabank Half-Marathon, and a UBC Olympic Distance Triathlon.
