Kezia Dawes, MScPT, BKin

Kezia has a Bachelor of Kinesiology and a Master of Science in Physiotherapy from the University of Alberta.

During her master’s, Kezia’s placements helped her to focus on working with pediatric populations with time spent at Stollery Children’s Hospital and Alberta Children’s hospital.

Kezia uses an evidence-based approach and values having close collaboration with her patients. All treatment plans are focused on what is most important to them. She uses a combination of exercise, pain education, manual therapy, and play during her treatments. Kezia is known for being warm and empathetic and helping her patient’s to have a lot of fun along their rehab journey.

Kezia has a passion for education and is a committed life long learner. She has completed her Pelvic Floor Treatment Levels (1-3), Pelvic Health Solution’s Pregnancy course, and her level 1 of Pediatric Pelvic Floor Treatment.

Kezia plans to pursue certifications in IMS and manual therapy in the near future.

She is passionate about treating all populations but holds a special interest in runners, dancers, climbers, pelvic floor related issues, and pediatrics.

As an avid dancer, climber, and runner herself, Kezia understand the unique demands that these activities place on the body and is well equipped with strategies for effective treatment and injury prevention. When Kezia isn’t at the clinic, she can be found running, stand up paddle boarding, and hanging with her sweet sheepadoodle, Wally.
