Michaela Hayes

Michaela has a BA in psychology from the University of Victoria. She’s currently a teaching lab assistant for Human Anatomy with Melissa Clarke, Exercise and Physical Health Education (EPHE), at UVic.

Growing up, Machaela was an elite level Volleyball player. She is now an avid yoga practitioner and an aspiring yoga instructor. She worked at Yoga Union Studio in Tsawwassen and she’s registered for yoga teacher training at Mā Wellness and Yoga on Herald Street.

Michaela has a Dual Dogwood in French immersion and she’s a fluent French speaker. She is French Canadian. She also has a basic level of ASL.

Michaela grew up in Tsawwassen. She has a dog, Fisher, a golden doodle, who she is co-parenting with her mom.

In her spare time, Michaela enjoys bouldering at Carsa and Boulder House.

Michaela Hayes works at the Oak Bay clinic for Arbutus Physiotherapy.
