Truth and Reconciliation Day reflection
Today, we pause to acknowledge the significance of Truth and Reconciliation Day. This day is a time for reflection on the painful legacy of residential schools and the ongoing journey toward healing and justice for Indigenous communities across Canada.
We stand in solidarity with Indigenous peoples and commit to ongoing learning, understanding, and supporting reconciliation efforts.
Let us all take a moment today to listen, learn, and contribute to meaningful change.
Note from the artist: Andy Everson has not copyrighted his design so that it can be shared freely to raise awareness, but he does ask that companies who use his design make a donation. He suggests the following non-profit Indigenous societies: Orange Shirt Society, Indian Residential School Survivors Society, or Copper Legacy Indigenous Empowerment Society.
