Exploring and hiking in Squamish

Our fearless leader and her partner-in-crime, Mike Neill, love getting out and exploring our beautiful BC backyard. What a great day for it too! Although we know those smiles are out rain or shine! #GetOutside #TrailRunning #ExploreBC #Squamish #Sḵwx̱wú7mesh

Elizabeth (Beth) May talks kinesiology, UVic, running and physiotherapy

We sat down to enjoy a coffee with Beth recently. We talked about physiotherapy, running, the University of Victoria, community building, and chickens…

Racing, winning, and finishing at XTERRA Victoria 2019

Huge shout out to the many athletes that swam, biked, and ran the XTERRA Victoria. It’s a tough race and very technical. We saw racers give their hearts to this race and it was inspiring to see the grit, skill, passion and friendship on the course. We were there as the presenting sponsor. And we

We really should sit and stand up straight

Sitting is not as good as standing. And standing is not as good as moving. But what about the positioning of our bodies in general? We’re not advocating for posture shaming, but maybe we should listen more when our aunties and family members tell us to sit up straight. Good posture helps our efficiency of

Triathlon of Compassion 2019

Great day everyone! We’re very proud to sponsor this race – The Victoria Sexual Assault Centre does necessary work in our community, and it’s also so cool to see young and adult athletes racing together. Congratulations, Triathlon of Compassion!

Sit less, move more (if you can)

We live in a world where we are constantly asked to sit. What does that mean for our bodies? Everything from our blood, to our nerves, to our skin depend on us to move, and they are there to help us do just that. Sitting, and especially hunching, can even impact our breathing by “giving

Cheers and support at Victoria Ironman

Great job running this race yesterday @sophiachadwick! There is always so much more going on for athletes in their lives and it fills us with joy to know we can cheer and yell and train with and support the athletes in Victoria and on the @humanpoweredracing team and in our lives. Great race everyone!

Dragon boats on the Gorge

What a beautiful morning of dragon boat racing (super sprints) on the Gorge. Still going too. Great to hear the drumming and cheering and splashing and see the teams paddling so intensely. Very cool community sport.

Taking a break at Clover Point

Everyone needs a break. What a great time to be on the water. River otters out and about too. Love that we share these spaces. So grateful to be here on the Salish sea. Happy Friday everyone.

Catching up with Scott Holden, physiotherapist and sport enthusiast

We sat down with Scott Holden recently to talk about sports, being a physiotherapist, and exploring Vancouver Island. You moved here last year, is that right? Yeah, my fiance and I were in Halifax, and we just decided that we wanted to switch it up and see what the other side of the country had
