Reopening, getting outside, and keeping each other safe

Keeping six feet from the seals on my kayak!

I am very excited to announce that with Phase 2 of BC’s Restart Plan we are reopening to in-person visits at Arbutus Physiotherapy and Health Centre on Tuesday, May 19th. We are now accepting appointments over the phone and booking online through our website.

There will be some changes to protect our patients and clinicians. We will have a sanitizing station upon entry into the clinic and we are spacing out appointments to ensure proper sanitization is done between patients and to allow patients direct entry into the treating rooms without congregating in the waiting room. We will also be asking patients to bring their own masks, or we will be happy to provide them at a small fee. We are lucky to be in a brand new building with private treatment rooms to help limit contact with other people. We are also asking people to come into the clinic alone if possible. More details about our new protocols can be found on our website.

With these adaptations to our practice we are confident we can continue to treat patients safely and effectively and we are so excited to open up again. If anyone has any questions regarding booking or new procedures please feel free to send me a message!
