A close up of a maple leaf. We cannot even see the whole leaf, but only the center part of two of the sections that branch off. The veins are visible and it fades from brown and orange on the right to green and yellow on the left. In between the two upper sections we can see very out of focus trees and sky, and the latter is seems bright and grey.

The door says "Arbutus Physiotherapy" in white letters as well as having their logo of an arrow in a white circle and their number (778-265-3663) and website (https://www.arbutusphysiotherapy.ca/) printed in white. Nice Living Next to Discovery!

Oh Wednesday. Extra coffee from our neighbour will get us through. We said goodbye and safe journeys to Caitlyn yesterday who is leaving for Ontario soon. Thanks for all your amazing help around here and for being rad.

Picasso's painting "The Acrobat," which is a blueish grey figure on a mustard yellow background with thin black strands in it. It is rectangular with greater hight than width. The figure has its head to the right, a large leg that starts below the neck and goes to the bottom right, an arm under that leg the is longer and end in the right corner of the canvas. There is then a thin arm with the hand in the bottom left and the end of the forearm attached almost directly across from the neck. The final limb is another foot bent at a 90 degree angle, which goes up into the top left and is attached between the thin arm and the neck.

Happy Friday from Picasso

The Acrobat, by Picasso, from 1929. It reminds us that a body is a thing that sometimes whirls and spins; that bodies are strange; and that all bodies are good bodies. Happy Friday everyone. This image was published in Pablo Picasso: Meeting in Montreal by the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts in 1985.
