Jacqueline received a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Alberta, and prior to that a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from the University of Lethbridge. She has completed a Diploma in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Acupuncture at Pacific Rim College, Medical Acupuncture through Acupuncture Canada, post-graduate orthopaedic training, a University of Alberta Graduate course in Diagnostic Imaging, Maternity Acupuncture, R2P Concussion Assessment and Treament, and Vestibular therapy.

Jacqueline has a keen interest in Pelvic Health, particularly as it relates to pregnancy and the post-partum period. Jacqueline has a whole-person, partnered approach, where she works with her clients on their self-identified needs and goals from daily function to high level performance. She has received pelvic floor training with Pelvic Health Concepts and Rost Pelvic Girdle Pain (2014). Having assisted women throughout pregnancies and the post-partum period Jacqueline is well versed in Pelvic Floor and core re-training including Diastasis Recti (gap in the abdominal muscles), as well as guiding return to activity.

Utilizing TCM Acupuncture can be particularly helpful for pain, sleep, nausea and stress relief. Her further studies in meditation and mindfulness round out her biopsychosocial approach, particularly in regards to stress and pain management. Having Level 1 evidence to support Pelvic Floor physiotherapy for incontinence, there is so much good that can be done in this area. She really enjoys working with this population and is excited to be part of your success journey to get you back to the you you recognize!

Jacqueline is a certified yoga teacher in two lineages and she is certified in Clinical Pilates through DMA in Melbourne, Australia (2012).

Jacqueline grew up in the foothills of the Canadian Rockies. Life was full of athletics, outdoor adventure and the arts – particularly classical piano and voice. Jacqueline spent five years on the Junior Canadian Whitewater Slalom Kayaking team, with a top placing of 19th in the World Championships. She swam on the Universe of Lethbridge swimming team, and later placed 3rd in BC Provincial sprint Triathlon. Currently she enjoys hiking with her labradoodle, Sadie, surfing and yoga.
